Roads& Infrastructure Geotechnics
Infrastructure geotechnics is the integration of slope, foundation, earthworks and drainage decisions along a live alignment.

DFEC’s infrastructure work is concentrated on mountain roads and rail corridors where the alignment is forced into steep, structurally controlled ground. Typical assignments include cuttings, high fills, MSE walls, rockfall risk and the geotechnical interface with bridges, tunnels and live traffic.
The role is specialist consultancy to the owner, lead consultant or contractor—defining ground risk and design, not constructing the works.
