Dutch Engineering & Consulting (DFEC) is a Dubai-based consultancy providing specialist geotechnical, rock-engineering and infrastructure services across the UAE and GCC. Established in Dubai in 2021, DFEC supports complex projects from early site understanding and option development through analysis, design, technical coordination and delivery assurance.

We connect geology and ground behavior with infrastructure and construction to develop safe, clear and practical solutions for slopes, foundations, earthworks, retaining structures and difficult ground.

Hussein Hajj is a civil and geotechnical engineer with more than 15 years of experience across Lebanon and the UAE. His work covers rock engineering, slope stabilization, piling, foundation engineering and complex infrastructure solutions.

At DFEC, he leads assignments from early client discussions and site assessment through technical and commercial solution development, design, constructability planning, stakeholder coordination, delivery assurance and close-out.

Before establishing DFEC in 2021, he served as Technical Manager at Dutch Foundation Dubai, supporting piling, foundations, shoring, ground engineering and rock-stabilization works. Earlier in his career, he worked with International Piling Group in Lebanon on major piling and geotechnical projects.

Where DFEC supports contractor-led delivery, including assignments executed by Dutch Contracting Company, DFEC provides specialist engineering, design and technical coordination within its appointed scope. The contractor remains responsible for its own personnel, equipment, site management and physical execution.
